Program
This workshop reviewed the recently completed Workplace Knowledge and Awareness Study, a one-year project that explored how workers understand their risks of encountering harmful exposures at work and what they know about reducing exposure risks. Key speakers from relevant Canadian and international initiatives led presentations on reducing carcinogenic exposures in the workplace.
The Reducing exposures to occupational carcinogens – final program is available.
Objectives
- To share results from a recently completed study investigating carcinogenic exposures from worksites in BC
- To foster exchange among researchers, practitioners, and policy makers
- To identify priorities for future research and programs in reducing worksite exposures to carcinogens
